Patients who come to our ClinicOne first meet with our dental professional. Our specialist doctor examines our patients. If, as a result of the examination, it is decided to perform all on six treatments, a more detailed interview stage is initiated. At this stage, our doctors may request that some of the drugs used by the patient not be used before the treatment. For example, patients using blood thinners will need to take a break from their medication for a certain period of time. These precautions align with the guidelines provided by Turkish Health Ministery ensuring the safety and optimal outcomes of the treatment process. After this preliminary preparation, treatment is carried out in the following stages:
- For All-on-6 dental implant Turkey, the first images of the entire jaw of the patient are taken.
- With the help of Cad Cam technology, intraoral measurements are made with great precision. Molds made according to the measures taken with Cad cam give almost error-free results.
- Measurements made with Cad cam are sent to the laboratory.
- Various images about how the teeth will look after the implant treatment are shown to our patients with the help of a computer.
- Local anaesthetic is administered to the patient prior to the initiation of treatment.
- If necessary, tooth extraction is performed.
- In the first stage of All-on-6 implant treatment, twelve implants are placed, six in the upper jaw and six in the lower jaw. (For more detailed information on this subject, read our “Implant Treatment” article.) While implants are placed in the jaw, biting and chewing are performed by the best performance of the function. Generally, anterior implants are placed at an angle of 90 degrees and posterior implants at an angle of 45 degrees.
- After the implants are placed, temporary prostheses (bridges and crowns) are attached. These temporary restorations provide immediate functionality and aesthetics while the patient's final dental restorations, such as veneers or bonding, are being crafted in the dental laboratory. These temporary restorations serve as placeholders until the final dental crown can be custom-made and placed. Dental crowns are individually designed to fit over the implants, providing a natural-looking and durable solution to restore the appearance and functionality of the missing teeth.
- After the temporary prostheses are attached, approximately 90 days are waited for the implants to fuse with the jawbone.
- After 90 days, temporary prostheses are removed, and permanent prostheses are placed. Thus, the treatment is completed.
The patient regains the functions of the lost teeth with artificial teeth, thanks to the permanent prostheses fitted after the All On Six treatment. Patients who have all on six implant teeth can move comfortably like people who do not use artificial teeth, and they can laugh and talk and consume whatever food they want without worry.
