All on 4 Aftercare with Clinic ONE
- After the All on 4 implant procedure, food, and drink should not be consumed until the effect of anesthesia wears off.
- A sterile tampon should be pressed to the relevant areas, as recommended by our dentists, for clotting to occur after the procedure and to stop the bleeding.
- Swelling and bruising may occur after the procedure. Bloating can be reduced by cold pressing.
- There may be pain and slight bleeding for one day after the procedure. Care should be taken not to spit on the first day and not engage in behaviors that tire the jaw. Actions such as spitting and mouth rinsing increase bleeding.
- Consumption of alcohol, cigarettes, and acidic and carbonated drinks should be suspended for at least three days. To protect oral and dental health, smoking should be completely stopped to accelerate the recovery period in treatment.
- Mouthwashes should be used three days after screw threading.
- If our dentists give a diet or diet, it must be strictly followed.
- Antibiotics, mouthwashes, and pain relievers given by our dentists should be used without neglecting them.
- Nutrition should be more liquid. Soft foods can also be consumed. The purpose of feeding in this way is not to put too much chewing load on the jawbone until the newly screwed implants fuse with the bone. Careful food consumption accelerates the integration time of the implants with the jawbone.
- If you have a habit of clenching or grinding your teeth while sleeping at night, ask our dentist to make a night plaque.
- Care should be taken for oral and dental health in all dental implant treatments. Failure to maintain oral hygiene may result in implant loss, which may result in re-treatment of the treatment.
